What companies do you recommend for the best credit and on-line security?

Terry Says:  Well, I’m not quite sure what you’re asking.  If you’re talking about credit cards, ALL card issuing companies use basically the same high levels of security — but you could be made vulnerable if you use it at a merchant that doesn’t have the highest security.  You are 100% protected against fraudulent use of your card.

If you are shopping online, you’ll want to look for the little padlock in the corner of the browser line, telling you the site is encrypted at the highest level.  Also, look for https:  to the left of the site name.  The “s” stands for secure, and means the website owners have a digital certificate that has been issued and verified by a trusted third party. Certificate authorities include: Verisign, Thawte, Equifax, GeoTrust.
