Getting a Credit Report without a Computer

By Terry Savage on November 23, 2014 | Credit/Debt

I have a friend who does not have a computer. How can she get her annual free credit report?

Terry Says:  She should go to the Public Library and ask them to use their computer.   That can be done safely, and she can print it out.  Talk to the help desk there to make sure it is not inadvertently “saved” to the library’s computer!   Go to www.AnnualCreditReport.com to get your free report.

I don’t think they send reports by mail anymore.  But here’s the toll-free number of Transunion, one of the three largest credit reporting companies, and you can contact them and ask about getting it by mail.  (855) 681-3196
