Medicare Advantage vs supplements

I have used Aetna Medicare Advantage plan ( CT ) for many years without any problems.
Your answer regarding not being able to get back to a Medicare supplement is something I hadn’t heard before & would like more info.

Terry Says:  This is an issue that most people don’t think about when they join Medicare Advantage.  I’m going to give you a link to the Medicare website, where it describes your rights to get a Medicare supplement policy after switching out of Medicare Advantage.  You will notice that unless you are in your first year of Medicare advantage, or the Advantage program you joined is suspended or you move to another area, you may pay more for the best supplement coverage, or may be denied for pre-existing conditions.
