Picking a fee-based financial advisor

By Terry Savage on July 21, 2014 | Financial Planning / Retirement

Please help. I would like to hire a fee based financial adviser but have no idea how to go about it.

Terry Says:  Actually, it’s very simple.  You can search on their website:  www.feeonly.org.  That’s the site for fee only certified financial planners.  Be sure to interview two or three, ask their general advice (the first meeting should be free) and get references of their clients in your same situation, and then contact the references!  And trust your gut instincts!
