457 ICMARC RETIREMENT
Hello, My son is 23 yrs old and is a wild land firefighter and has just been offered benefits. How much should he invest in his 457 ICMRC retirement plane. He doesn't know if they match or not . He will find out .. but depending on this how much should he invest?

As much as he can! Pretty soon he will have a wife and children, and lots of financial demands. So the earlier he starts, and the more he contributes while he is young, the better off he will be. Remember, this is NOT a pension plan, which depends on funding by the employer; this is his OWN separate account, and over the long run will grow along with America!
