Ask Terry Questions Account Information Aggregation

Account Information Aggregation

By Terry Savage on November 25, 2015 | Investments

I have several mutual funds at different firms along with a 401k. I’m looking for a piece of software for my PC that will allow me to aggregate the information from all these different accounts into one PC program such as Excel. I’m able to perform this function through my 401k with Financial Engines. However, I don’t know how long that feature will be accessible to me. Any ideas? Thanks

Terry Says:  There are so many portfolio management sites.  If you have mostly mutual funds, I’d use the one at Morningstar.com,  which requires a premium membership.  But it looks  “inside” those funds to let you know how well you are diversified by stock and by sector, and easily updates portfolio valuations.  I know a lot of people also use Yahoo Finance to track portfolios.  And if you want your investments as part of your entire financial picture, it might make sense to use Quicken.

Anyone else want to offer suggestions??
