gold ion form of strips for wallet

By Terry Savage on November 25, 2015 | Wild Card

I recently heard of gold being sold [GOldline] in form of strips for carrying in wallet in place of other instruments for ‘when things get bad’. Cost advertised is 800.00 for a number of strips each 1/10 ounce. What is your thinking on this?

Terry Says:  I think that’s getting carried to an extreme.  When things get “that bad”, no one is going to trade a loaf of bread for a gold ion strip.  Just another marketing ploy.  If you want to own gold in a form you can carry, just buy some one ounce bullion coins like the Canadian Maple Leaf, and pay only a small 3% premium to gold prices at the time you buy.
