Terry, what's the best official website where I can do research on acquiring a Federal Government grant for property devevelopment?

To be honest, I had never heard of government grants -- free money -- for property development. Seems the government would have better things to do with our tax dollars than give it away to developers. But I dutifully did a search -- and lo! I found something interesting -- an article on all the kinds of real estate related grants available and a database to search. Some are for restoration of property, others for making energy related improvements, and others have various qualifications. Here is a link to that article (which also seems to be from a site that is a come-on for real estate investing, so beware). And here is the government's main website for grants -- www.Grants.gov, where you can browse.
