Terry, I am new to investing. What is the best way to learn about stock & bond markets, Vanguards? I want to try and understand how things work and terminology. Books, websites, etc?

First, you need to understand how the market works. I recommend a great little book (for which I wrote the foreword) and you can get it on Amazon.com. It is Chuck Carlson's book, The Little Book of Big Dividends. Then go to Morningstar.com and take some of the online "courses" that teach you about investing and the markets.
