Hi Terry, Last week I was listening to WGN radio on in the afternoon. You were discussing investments and that you had a favorite investor newsletter that was well worth the money to subscribe. I was in the car and was not able to write his name down . Would you possible know which one I was referring to? You were discussing taking a percentage of your money and cashing out of investments and pitting it into cash. You were saying this investor also agrees. Thank you. I did try to write it down while driving but cannot read what I wrote- it looks like Jim jack or something like that! Thanks again

Yes, the ONE newsletter that I read instantly, and has been top rated over many, many years is Jim Stack's InvesTech Research newsletter.  Go to www.InvesTech.com or call them at 406-862-7777.  It's easy to read, makes perfect sense -- AND has caught all the major turns as long as I can remember.   I think if you ask they will send you a sample of the latest letter, dated Feb 17th -- which was top of mind when I was on radio last week.  It is headlined:  Never Underestimate the Determination of a Bull Market . . . But! Stack points out that bull markets don't just die of old age -- and gives a list of warning flags that have preceded previous tops.  There are seven of them, and at present only one warning flag -- extreme optimism -- is waving.   My remarks were aimed at retirees who have made nice profits and might need to use their money before the next bear and bull cycle comes into play.   These are people in the "withdrawal" stage of their lives, who won't be continuing to invest and might panic at a decline.   Having some "cash" on the sidelines makes it easier to stay invested with the balance.    It's called "money management"!
