401K investments now
I am 56 I have been in my 401K at work for 17 years. What should I be choosing to invest my funds in? I plan on working for as long as I can. I am not married, i own a home.
Thank you.

The first question is: What are you invested in now, inside your 40l(k)? I hope it’s a diversified stock fund, like the S&P 500 fund.
The second question sort of answers itself –but I’m assuming that if you plan to keep working you will also keep contributing.
In that case, and at your age, you have plenty of time for a market rebound and a “long run” till your retirement. So keep investing that regular amount every month and don’t get scared out of your regular investments by panic headlines. If the market drops further, you will be buying stocks at “bargain” prices!
