My Retirement Investment
I am 74 years old and my IRA retirement is in a Edwards Jones I am 40% in S&P should I get out of that completely. I have lost 5% of my total investment in 1 day .

Whew. I have been trying to warn people in your situation that this could happen. I can’t give advice without knowing where the other 60% of your money is invested. If it is in cash or money market accounts, you should just ride out your stock position — Over the long run, it will recover. But do write back and tell me where the balance of your money is invested, or I will be worrying about you.
