What is your opinion on US savings bonds. Can we lose value on them.

Please see today’s column on my website — where I discuss this. HOLD ON TO YOUR U.S. SAVINGS BONDS. Do not sell them! Most older savings bonds have a high interest rate floor that makes them very attractive.
They do NOT fall into the category of bonds I mentioned in my column about bond dangers.
