Stimulus check — file 2019 now??
As I watched your segment today on Chicago WGN9; My first question: I am a single parent of 1 child. I filed for 2018 but i made easy less the $75000. It was direct deposit. Will i see a stimulus check? I already did my 2019 taxes and got my reimbursement taken by a student loan.

Yes, you should receive $1200, plus $500 for your child. Want to make it easier. FILE NOW for your 2019 return, assuming you made less than $75,000 in adjusted gross income (see article on my site). Give them direct deposit info for your current return.
