Stimulus check – -FILE NOW so ex doesn’t get your check!
The question I have is if you were married last year and filed jointly but now your separated and live in different states since July 2019 will there be separate stimulus checks for both parties?

If you file your 2019 return NOW as married filing separately, you will get your stimulus check without delay! Do it! If they don’t have a 2019 return, they will mail it to the 2018 address. And since you filed jointly they might send YOUR check and HIS to that address! (Or direct deposit it to the account on your 2019 return!)
