Stimulus for sons age 18 and 20
Hi I have 2 children in college 18 and 20 I filed them on my taxes will I receive a stimulus check for them ? They also work but don’t make much should they file on turbo taxe to receive them a check ?

Immediately amend your return and remove them as dependents. It won’t impact your return much but it will allow them to register to each get a check for $1200. Do the amendment — THEN have them file their own returns, using the “TurboTax” link in the article on my website. But do yours first or they will be told they can’t file since they are dependents. And dependents over 17 don’t get the $500 check.
