Economic Impact Payment
My daughter is 37 years old. She is disabled, and receives SS Disability of $1,000 a month under my SS as a dependent. My wife and I received our $2,400. She has not received anything, and we did not get the extra $500. Our CPA claims her as a dependent on our taxes. Due to the amount of income that she has, she does not file. Is she entitled to any of this help?
Terry Says
No, because she is declared a dependent on your return, and is over 16, she does not qualify for a $500 dependent payment, or as an independent individual who would get the $1200.
