Stimulus/tax refunds
My granddaughter is on SSI and SSD . She also filed taxes . She got a stimulus and today she got a $1200.00 tax refund . She doesn’t work so we think this has to be a mistake. What to do ?

That $1200 IS her stimulus payment! The government just needed a way to “label” the payment so they are calling it a tax refund! It’s hers to enjoy. Tell her to save some of it for emergencies!
