Unemployment for independent contractors
Hi Terry. I am a driver for lyft & it has been said that we can receive unemployment benefits however I have received a denial letter for such. Would there be a specific way to retry for this? Or do we simply not qualify?

This seems to be a national problem for Uber and Lyft drivers. This article is a month old, and problems continue in getting unemployment benefits if you’re a driver.
But there is a tech company that has built a platrorm to help Uver, and presumably Lyft, drivers getPUI benefits. Go to www.Kabbage.com and search it out. They were interviewed last week on CNBC, so if you search on CNBC.com under their name, you can see the video.
