ira is up at the end of the month, I want to renew it but i dont know what to do with it with the rates being so low

Leave it right where it is in the bank and accept that you will get a VERY low rate! Don’t make the CE for longer than one year. This is CHICKEN MONEY– and it is tough to stick with your plan, but everything else that pays more involves a LOT more risk!
