Where To Buy Gold ?

I read your column dated July 30, 2020 about gold. Where do I buy gold ? I don’t have a financial adviser for these types of questions. Do I buy it in a bank ? Also, after purchase where do I keep it ? Thank you for your advice.

If you live in Chicago, I use Harlan J. Berk, Ltd on Clark Street downtown. And I immediately put my gold coins in a bank vault! If you live elsewhere go to the website of the American Numismatic Association to find a reputable,local gold dealer. That site is www.Money.org.
You want to buy one ounce bullion coins, likely Canadian Maple Leafs or American Eagle one-ounce coins. The price should be about 3-4% above the daily gold price, which you can find at www.Kitco.com. That cost should include insured shipping if you are not picking it up from the dealer.
