What is the cost range for good financial plan from a vetted fiduciary planner? What is the range of a fee based plan as opposed to a plan included as part of an amount under management service?

A lot depends on the complexity of your assets and the total amount. But I’m thinking that you should set aside about $2500 as a fee for a comprehensive plan that includes investment analysis, estate planning, insurance planning and retirement income planning. But if actual estate planning documents are drawn up, it could be more.
