Social Security to a divorced woman of over 20 year’s
Hi Terry, I was married for 20 year’s & got divorced. I was wondering if my ex husband collects social security if I am entitled to some of it. If so how would I go about it? He’s only 56 a truck driver. Me I am 57. Any info would be so great!

If you haven’t remarried, you are entitled to half of his SS — assuming that amount is larger than your own SS. But you have to wait until he is full retirement age (around 67) before you start to collect to get that full share.
