Social security — how do I start at age 70?
I’ll be 70 in July of this year. When and how do I collect social security?

Go to www.SocialSecurity.gov — or call them at
1-800-772-1213 between 8:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Do this three months before your 70th birthday — but insist that they do not pay you one penny before your birthday! (They offer to do this but it costs you about 8% going forward in your monthly check!)
Be prepared to give them your bank routing number and account number so they can make a monthly direct deposit.
