Series I Bond purchase
I was so excited to buy Series i bonds and went to Treasury. Gov to do that.
After filling out the required form to open an account it said it was unable to verify my information and therefore put a hold on my account. Now I have to fill out another form and it will take up to 13 weeks.
Guess I’m out of luck to purchase by the October 31st deadline.

The only way around that is to sit on the phone for hours. If you get to talk to someone, they can fix it immediately. It has happened to a lot of people. The site is overwhelmed.
