Social Security
My wife still works and we are both collecting social security. We are trying to budget our lives to live JUST on the social security. What is a good investment for my wife’s paycheck while she is stil working in the short term. PS we have a mortgage which is our only monthly bill besides utilties.

I don’t know about your other investments — any retirement plans such as IRAs or 40l(k)s? If not, you don’t want to risk ANY of your savings. When you have abut $10,000 in savings you might leave half in the bank and half in Treasury Bills.
