name change after I create an account on Treasury Direct

Hi Terry! Thank you for your expertise on WGN. I just bought your book and can’t wait to take notes. I was just about to create an account on Treasury Direct. gov and then stopped. I’m planning on going back to my maiden name and wonder if it would be better to do that first, and then create my account to purchase bonds? I don’t want to miss out on great rates but at the same time, I don’t want it to be so complicated to change my name after I create the account with my current name. Thank you, Terry.
