I can’t give advice like that without knowing a lot more about you and your lifestyle, and your goals for this money (spend it all, leave to heirs, or charity?). And whether you have carefully prepared for the potential cost of long-term custodial care. And whether you have made an “estate plan” — will or living trust.
In other words, to find an appropriate investment balance, you need to work with someone who can review all these issues — someone you can trust completely. For that you need a fee-only Fiduciary financial planner — not someone trying to sell you stuff. Find one you can trust heree. And if you have any questions please write back.
