Medicare Enrollment from today’s Chicago Tribune Plan G, Not F!
Hi Terry. Thank you for today’s article. One item sent both my wife and me to our Medicare book. You said in your article re: supplemental coverage, “When you sign up initially, pick the most comprehensive plan, currently Plan F.” However, plan F is no longer available after 2020. The “replacement” is G; we have to pay the yearly deductible. Thanks, again, for making so many complicated things much simpler.

Yes, I goofed — I knew that and it was a true slip of the “pen.” I’ve changed it on my website and am announcing a correction in the papers. Thanks to my many sharp-eyed readers!
