Retirement Planning
My wife is 61, I’m soon to be 60. Our only child is a college Freshman. A few years ago we asked our Financial Adviser if we should start planning for retirement. He asked if we were about to retire. When we responded not yet he said to approach him when we were ready.
Is his response something you agree with? We thought retirement should be preceded by planning(?). Your thoughts, please!
