CDs in my trust
Many banks which offer CDs will not put them in my trust name. Do you have a list of banks which will? So far I’ve only found one bank, Byline bank which will do so. Thank you Terry.

Did you create a Revocable Living Trust as part of your estate plan? Did you ask your attorney for a copy of the pages showing you are empowered as trustee?
If you did that, no bank will turn you down! You can even open a TreasuryDirect account and buy T-bills in the name of your RLT.
It uses your SS number.
Start over and go to any major bank and present the required documents.
