Do we need a financial advisor

I will be retiring within the year. I have approximately $1,100,000.00 in a 401(K). My wife has another $75,000.00. We have no mortgage. SS will be approximately $3,150.00 for myself. Wife plans another year of work before retirement.
I’ve never sought out a financial advisor or advice other than what’s readily available. Do you recommend a Financial advisor or could I roll into a self-managed IRA?
