T-Bills

By Terry Savage on April 03, 2025 | Chicken Money

Hello Terry,
I have been buying T-Bills, and continue to roll them over. I noticed that the interest made is not rolled over? The interest is direct deposited back into my bank account. Is there a way that the interest made can be added to the amount that is going to be rolled over?
Thank you,

Terry Says

Nope. That’s how T-bills work. You get the interest up-front. It always comes as a delightful surprise. Now, you don’t have to spend it. Let it build up in your money market account, and when you get enough you can buy more T-bills!
