TBills and other Compound Interest Earning Options
Hello – I am interested in investing money (extra savings) in a vehicle that allows me to maximize interest and continuation to earn by compounding that interest. Are TBills still a good option? What other options do you recommend?
Terry Says
T-bills do not “compound” interest; they pay your interest up-front. That allows you to put the interest payment into a money market fund to make it grow. Then when the bills rollover and renew at maturity, you get another interest payment, which can be deposited directly into your money market fund.
