Investment Companies
Our fee only fiduciary firm is switching from Schwab to SEI Investments for fund management – is that of any concern? (We established with them a few years ago after Pam Kruger’s sent us her only 2 referrals for our state thru Wealthramp).
They were with TD Ameritrade at the time, but haven’t seen the same level of service since the Schwab acquistion “since they are a smaller company” ($500 million – 1 Billion AUM per USA Today 2025 top firms ranking) so are planning to return to SEI Investments in the 3rd Q. Apparently they were with SEI prior to switching to TD Ameritrade.
I trust, but verify… and unlike Schwab, Vanguard, Fidelity, I’ve never heard of SEI Investments so am curious as to your thoughts about SEI. Thanks in advance!

SEI is just the “back office” custodian and processing firm. If you’re with a trusted fiduciary provided by Pam, you don’t have to worry. A lot of firms are unhappy with the back office customer service provided by Schwab after the Ameritrade merger. This won’t impact you.
