401K Rollover to IRA – Now what ?
Hi Terry ,
Long time big fan of yours. Thank you for calmness during times of uncertainty. I rolled over my 401K to an IRA and I’m hesitant to invest in S&P 500 due to current volatility. I’m thinking about putting it in a vanguard MMF – at least I’ll get 4% or so and buy into market on sell off market days. I’m 58 and won’t need this money for about 15 years. What do you think ? Thank you !!

I think that’s a great idea — for starters. In fact, that’s probably where they put the money if you already did the rollover and didn’t specify other funds.
The next step is to get some trusted, independent FIDUCIARY advice from a fee-only advisor.

You need more than just investment advice. You need a plan for retirement income, for taxes, for your estate, and for your overall peace of mind.
Oh, one more thing: be sure you named a beneficiary for this rollover IRA!
