WEP refund
Good morning, Terry! Spouse worked as firefighter for 30 years and still has not received WEP lump sum payment or adjustment to monthly amount received. He has been retired since @2004. Should we be patient, or pursue looking into this matter further? I am retired also and just started collecting SS last year. I also worked as an independent contractor for half my career. Would this have an effect on the delay?

Not your fault since SS has independent accounts — unless he is collecting in your work record.
