CC real estate tax increase

My real estate tax market value ( per 2025 reassessment notice) has ballooned 290% for upcoming 2026. I have called CC 5 times trying to navigate their appeals site. The reps are very vanilla in their answers. I researched properties in my area some have been hit, one that put a large addition on is not reflected in their 2025 R.N. I am a disabled FF/PM (30 yrs.) on a fixed income. I get the home owners, senior and disabled “peanuts” discounts . We have 6 kids and 6 grand kids we try to help financially. I will try to navigate their appeals website as I don’t get out much to go to the court house to appeal. Can you bring the CC real estate north suburb increase to light on your next WGN
appearance? Maybe the CC politicians will see it and get a dose of blue collar reality risking their life for others as well as the other blue collar workers in this area. Thank you.
