Are you really serious when you tell people to retire at age 70? That’s crazy! Average death is 87. So, I work for 50 years to only retire for 17 years? There’s got to be a better option!

Social Security is your only inflation-adjusted retirement benefit. Don’t bet against yourself. Averages are made of those below the average number and those above. Don’t bet against yourself. When all your savings run out at age 93, you’ll be glad you have a larger check!
I know I can’t convince you not to take the money and run. Tell your spouse to write me when you die, so we will know who really won! (PS, I’m betting she thinks you’re an “above average” guy!
