Trust lawyer want $ amounts
Is it normal when you go to a will and trust lawyer for them to require your account totals before doing the trust ?

Sure, they want to know a ballpark figure of your estate, so they can give advice about taxes and structuring your assets. Remember, assets in an IRA go directly to the beneficiaries. But they can help you balance things out if they know the entire picture. If you don’t trust your estate planning attorney –if you have a bad feeling — then find another!
