Daugter’s retirement savings

Best plan for retirement thru my daughter’s filing – she is one person 1099 works for Dr. earns about $175k- presently takes 7 k IRA deduction?

Terry Says

Unless her boss has set up some sort of employee retirement plan, such as a SEP-IRA, her only tax-deductible retirement opportunity at her age is a $7,000 contribution to an IRA. And I’d suggest she make it a ROTH IRA, since she probably doesn’t really need the tax deduction.
