investment or savings advice

By Terry Savage on January 20, 2026 | Chicken Money

Hello Terry,
I have 22,000 I would like to put into a risk free account, ie CD , T Bills?
I can keep in an account 12-24 months.
Would like advice what to do with this money.
I’ve read a bit about making smaller deposits into assorted cd accounts to rotate maturity
dates and keep up with interest rate fluctuation.
Appreciate your input.
thank you…

You can buy 13 or 26 week T-bills, and stagger the purchase — half now, and half in perhaps 3 weeks. The interest drops automatically into your linked bank account. And no state taxes on the interest you earn.
Honestly, it’s easy — and safe!
