New $6,000 senior tax exemption

Terry, where on the 2025 Form 1040SR do I find the reference to the 6K per senior additional standard deduction for persons over 65? I read your article in the Chicago Tribune on 3/8/26 and was confused there, and when I completed my return, I still did not find any reference to the 6K “bonus” on the form. What am I missing, and where is the reference to the $6,000 on the form or in the instructions? Thanks for your help. I listen to you on WGN daily, Jim Moran
