Buy life insurance at 76
Hey terry. I’m 76 years old and I need to know if I need more life insurance. If I can’t take care of myself could I get long term life insurance. And who can I call?

Whoa – life insurance proceeds go to your beneficiaries — not to you! But if you ask a life insurance salesperson, they will probably sell you some! So I’m glad you came to me.
I don’t know your entire financial situation — how much money you have,whether you have a spouse or trusted adult child, whether you own your own home, etc. I think this is the time to have at least one meeting with a trusted financial planner who is not trying to sell you something! Just charges a fee. That will help you get properly organized.
