Retirement Thrift Plan
Hi Terry,
I worked previously at MassMutual and now for Empower still employed.
I met you years ago at MassMutual at one of the events we were sponsoring.
I am now 73, my retirement account is still with MassMutual as a Thrift plan.
I am so unsure what to do conservatively.
Thank you,

OK, please start by watching the video at this link.
You need someone you can trust to review your entire financial situation — a fee-only FIDUCIARY advisor who is not trying to sell you anything.
This year, you must take an RMD. The custodian for your plan will tell you the amount.
An advisor can review your investment choices inside the plan, and might suggest doing a rollover to an IRA, where at this stage of life you’ll find more conservative choices, such as a money market fund for some of your retirement money.

Again, this is the time to get trusted advice about your entire income situation, estate plan, and lifestyle. Not from a broker trying to sell you something, but from a FIDUCIARY.
