2 stimulus checks in 1 bank account possible?
My husband filed his taxes using our roommates bank account because he doesnt have a bank account. Our check came throught on his bank account. Now my roommate hasnt gotten a stimulus check yet. He didnt file his taxes but he went through the irs portal to give them his bank information because he is a nonfiler and he still hasnt recieved his check yet. Is this gonna be an issue with my roommates stimulus check??

I don’t think so. The stimulus checks are paid out based on SS numbers, not bank account numbers. He should be patient because those that went through the portal to give direct deposit info are just being taken into the system. My best guess is that it will be mid-May before he receives his stimulus in that checking account. Don’t panic!
