Ask Terry Questions 2019 Taxes

2019 Taxes

By Terry Savage on January 04, 2023 | Taxes & Economy

Hi Terry-
I live in Chicago.
I submitted my 2019 Taxes by mail in August of 2022 (late but could not be helped). I always recieve a refund and as I did with my 2021 taxes that I recieved in November.
I submitted my 2021 taxes in September of 2022. I recieved my refund in November and am still awaiting my 2019 refund. I have called the multiple web phone numbers to no avail.
I have not recieved US Mail or email regarding any changes either. Can you help me find out what / where if anything are my 2019 taxes please.
Thank you

It’s still tough to get through to the IRS. Start by creating an Id.me account with the IRS.
Read this article and use the links to create one. Maybe that will shed some light on what happened with 2019.

If you still have a problem after all that, please write back.
