2020 taxes
When I check “where’s my refund” with IRS site it doesn’t even acknowledge receiving my 2020 taxes. I recieved my State refund last May and both were filed electronically Aprl 21, 2021. I am unable to contact anyone at IRS by phone and haven’t recieved an email answer back on my email to them.
My old tax preparer I had for years passed away so I don’t have any help there.
Any ideas what may have happened?

Yes, the IRS has acknowledged it has 11 million un-reviewed returns! they are so far behind. Follow instructions in this article to create an IRS ID.me account and get the most up-to-date info.
