2021 Tax, Dependent.
My wife’s sister lived with us for the whole 2021 year and is eligible to be claimed as a dependent on my 2021 tax.
1. She is on SNAP and ILHEAP programs. Will this have any effect If I claim her as a dependent.?
2. When she does her own taxes and I claim her as a dependent will that effect her refund amount,?

She can’t be claimed as your dependent and file her own tax return. I suggest you contact your tax preparer to evaluate the alternatives.
