2400 stimulas check rec’d on 8-01-2020 payable to me only.
Husband died on 2-25-2019; I filed joint return for both 2018 and 2019 clearly showing that he was deceased. I have deposited the check.
Do you think that they will come after me for 1200?

OK, I’m assuming you received $2400 or you wouldn’t be worried. YOU get the $1200 for sure. If you received $2400 don’t worry about it. When the IRS gets their act together they will come and ask for it back. That could be a LONG time. And there’s no efficient way to return it and be sure they will credit it at this point. So relax!
